Serial rapist’s trial gets underway

JOHANNESBURG – The trial of Thembisa serial rapist Sipho Lucas Phiri is expected to get underway on Monday.
Phiri is alleged to have targeted over 30 women.
The 39-year-old was a part-time law student and employed as a Prasa security guard.
His vehicle which he used to lure in unsuspecting women and a firearm were seized during his arrest.
