Yamaha G3 grand piano in American Walnut.
The Yamaha G3 is one of the world's most widely celebrated grand pianos.  It has been universally acclaimed for decades as a wonderful marriage of sound engineering, stable and consistent manufacturing, and remarkable attention to musical detail.  It is a gold-standard performance grade instrument that is suitable for the most discerning pianist.
We purchased this several years ago from the estate of the original owner. She lived to nearly 100 years of age, and had bought this for herself when she turned 50 years old! It plays beautifully, obviously loved and taken well care of all those years and was moved once a couple years ago to our place.
This piano is serial number

indicating that it was made during Yamaha's "Golden Age", having been built in Hamamatsu, Japan around 1968. Reason for sale, we bought a smaller upright piano and really need the space in our living room. Included with purchase, stored inside piano bench is a large lot of sheet music books.

Condition:
This piano is an excellent condition for its age.
There is a dark pattern on the top front (see photo) where previous owner must have had the top front panel open and shielded sunlight causing less fading in the color.
There are a couple barely noticeable light scratches on some of the keys.
There is a little scuff near the hinge on the keyboard cover.
Could use a new tuning after it’s moved, but for the most part this well built Yamaha piano is an excellent shape.
