Yamaha C7 Metropolitan Opera Provenance 7'4" Grand Piano(1988) Polished Ebony Top ConditionBeautiful 7' 4" Yamaha C7 Conservatory Grand Piano, built in the era of Yamaha's best grands (1988). Originally selected by Yamaha and supplied as Piano Reserve 244
to the Metropolitan Opera in New York in 1988. (See picture for plaque). Purchased and gently used exclusively in a home for the past 31 years and regularly maintained by professional piano technicians. Specially voiced for the Met, this C7
has a Wonderful sound from a classic Yamaha concert grand piano. Our professional tuner recently commented that this was one of the finest pianos he has worked on.
The Yamaha C7 is the most sought after model for studio and concert use. This C7E is from an era that was known for great sounding C7's. The bass is rich and mellow and the treble is crystal clear without sounding sharp.
Comes with a felt dust protector over the sound board and a cloth over the keyboard. A high-end New Manual Arts concert bench (value 0) included in price of piano.
Piano has caster wheels for ease of maneuverability. Light wear and tear, very small surface scratches - barely noticeable.
The bench comes in Ebony Leather hand tufted top, as shown in picture with Spade Foot Leg.
The bench dimensions are 16" W x 22.5" L x 17" - 20" H (adjustable).
