At 5'7" in length, this grand piano's rich tone, responsive action, and manageable size makes it perfect for conservatories and homes alike. This Steinway masterpiece was purchased new in 1924 by the First Baptist Church of Cabot, Arkansas, where it was lovingly played on Sundays for the congregation. In the early 1990's, it was purchased by the current owner who, although he did not play the piano himself, is a music aficionado having grown up in the 1950's with the likes of The Glenn Miller Band and the Tommy Dorsey Band regularly performing in his home where his parents entertained and would provide meals to the band members. He has faithfully maintained for nearly 30 years a tuning schedule and installed a PianoDisc Symphony Pro Player so that he could sit back and listen to the music of this grand piano resonate throughout his home. Feel free to schedule a time to come by Design District North to see the piano for yourself and to listen to its immaculate tone. They just don't make pianos today the way they used to.
