This Steinway, originally built in 1926 with a Jacobian style furniture case, was built to accept a paper roll player system. That system has been removed.
The action, dampers and strings were replaced with Renner action parts about 5 years ago and the piano plays exceptionally well. Tone is deep and colorful, as you would expect with a good Steinway. Steinway pianos from this period were exceptionally great pianos, as is this one.
The piano hammers are voiced and the action regulated for a performance. This is a rare find.
