You are bidding on a beautiful Steinway & Sons Baby Grand Piano in Ebony Polish. The piano is Steinway's Model "M" measuring 5' 7" in length, originally built in 1916 and meticulously restored about 15 years ago. The restoration included a 100% rebuild using all Steinway parts...the hammers are stamped Steinway and are in excellent condition with only very minor use. My technician has rated this Steinway an OUTSTANDING EXAMPLE of an exemplary rebuild that has produced one of the finest "M"s he has encountered.
I am a professional pianist and composer. This instrument has remarkable sustain and a wonderful glistening voice that really sings.

The cabinet is in EXCELLENT CONDITION!!! ...LIKE NEW!
The action is completely restored with ORIGINAL STEINWAY PARTS and plays beautifully! ... outstanding!!
The soundboard is close-grain spruce in PERFECT CONDITION!!
The bridges are PERFECT with CORRECT downbearing pressure yielding excellent transference of tone, providing a PURE VOICE, excellent SUSTAIN and virtually no inharmonic distortion!
The pinblock is OUTSTANDING and my piano technician tells me it is a joy to tune!
The strings have virtually no false beats and my technician has indicated the pianos "locks-in" BEAUTIFULLY while tuning.
The hammers are STEINWAY in excellent condition.
The dampers are as new...clean and function perfectly.
The pianos is in fine condition and ready for the most discriminating pianist, family or student.
There are a few minor scuffs on the bench, but nothing noticeble from a several feet away.
At 5' 7" (170 cm) in length, this piano's rich tone, responsive action and manageable size makes it perfect for conservatories, and many homes as well.
