TRULY ONE OF A KIND MASTERPIECE!
This piano was special ordered directly from Yamaha Japan for its unique satin Burled Walnut finish , and in later years was shipped back to the company for a complete restoration.
The mechanism was entirely restored and the rare wood cabinet was preserved to its glory to provide a very rich and mellow tone, similar to that of a Steinway.
No detail or expense was spared from this true and one of a kind masterpiece!
Yamaha never made another piano from this exquisite rich wood, and you will certainly never find another one like this in this immaculate and pristine condition.
The piano has been regularly maintained and serviced and housed in proper temperature and humidity. All parts including the ivories are in pristine condition.
This is a Yamaha No.20 - a 5'8" Grand Piano.
The model "No.20" is a precursor to the more commonly known model G2, from Yamaha's G series of acoustic grand pianos.
The model No.20 was produced between May 1948 and July 1954 in Japan.
This is a private sale.
The buyer is responsible for shipping.
The piano is currently stored in a climate controlled facility on a custom piano dolly, and protected with new blankets. It is ready to be loaded and travel to its new home.
