Beautiful Chickering Grand, made in 1981, last of the great hand crafted American made pianos. Chickering started making pianos in Boston around 1823 and were made into the mid 1980's. This one was lightly played by one owner on Long Island. Barely has any grooves on the hammers, has rich, full bodied grand sound. Action is very responsive. WE just gave the case a "French Polish" several coats of hand applied padding lacquer to even out the sheen and give it a "like new" appearance.
