    Beautiful '98
Bergmann / Young Chang Baby Grand Piano
Polished Ebony, 88 keys, With Matching Stool
    This
    Bergmann baby grand piano
    (Serial #
    TG 0006461
    ) and its matching stool
were made in 1998 by Young Chang, which was established in 1956 in Asia. It stands about 5.5' high with the top raised, has a full keyboard and three pedals, plays well (it barely has been played since its last tuning a few years ago), and is made of elegant, polished ebony. It has 10-15 light scratches on the back -- visible mostly in very bright light. Very good condition overall.
The transparent and distinctive sound of Young Chang Pianos is what makes them stand out. Their pianos are renowned for their dynamic range of musical expression, power, and depth of tone. They're treasured for the beauty and clarity of sound timbre, and are pleasant and responsive to the touch.
Their soundboards' unique curvature is created by precisely applied tensions that result from the interplay of several factors including the milling of the rib ends and drying phases in a climatic chamber.
Young Chang pianos’ tonal quality is integrally tied to the complex and specialized nuances of material selection. They select the finest natural raw materials and store them under controlled climatic conditions for assembly by skilled crafts persons. Their creation process has taken years to perfect.
Their piano parts are durable and long lasting. Piano frames are made using a cutting-edge precision vacuum cast.

    Terms, Payment & Return Policy
    Buyer agrees to the following:
    Local Pick-up Only!
Local pick-up in Rochester Hills, Michigan only! Sellers cannot help carry or move the piano, so buyer must make sure to bring sufficient labor, moving/packing equipment, including tools and supplies, and transportation. Please don't forget whatever you need to pack or safeguard (e.g., canvas or bedding, etc.) the piano during transport. If someone other than the buyer will be picking up the piano, the buyer must give ample advance notice to the seller, via eBay's message service, before pick-up is scheduled.
Please Pay in Full Before Item Pick-up
As in typical eBay sales, buyer is asked to pay in full via eBay before -- not during or after -- pick-up! That gives the buyer more payment options while protecting the seller. Seller will
    not
accept a check at time of item pick-up for obvious reasons. Seller will accept cash for the entire amount due during item pick-up, but again asks the buyer to pay in full via eBay
    before
    item pick-up.
    No Returns/Exchanges
No returns or exchanges this item. However, the buyer can decline to accept the item at pick-up if he or she feels it's significantly
not as described. In such a case, the buyer can open a dispute on eBay.
A refund will be issued ASAP through eBay -- but
    not
while the buyer is present for what was to be the item's pick-up -- as long as the buyer did not take possession of the piano.
No Refunds Once Buyer Takes Possession of Piano
No refunds or exchanges once the buyer accepts and removes this item from the seller's location! Seller (AKA consignor) and consignee are not responsible for any new damage to the piano, or any injuries suffered by the buyer or his/her assistants, while he/they removes/remove the piano from the seller's location or during transport from the seller's location.
These terms are intended to maintain a secure and fair transaction for buyer and seller. However, potential buyers who have any issues with these terms respectfully are asked not to bid on or make an offer for this item.
