Tested with the external battery compartment for using standard AA batteries and internal battery. Unit powers on and I heard the sound of the mechanical movement, but cannot read discs (I have no idea about the reason for this) and selling as is NOT working.The unit does have some cosmetic damage as shown (please, see images). Sold as-is for parts or repair. Please, no return, no claim. NOTE: internal battery and external battery compartment not included with this item!
